In preparation for the continuation of the adjudication for the Helen Hayes Awards starting in January 2022, Theatre Washington is searching for collaborative, inquisitive, and open-minded theatre-goers and theatre-makers to serve as volunteer judges. Judges serve on panels that are focused on adjudicating plays, musicals, or new work. The judge panels see as many as 50 shows in the calendar year. Two tickets to each show are provided free to the judges by the theatres. It is typically a three-year volunteer commitment with many rewards including seeing many outstanding productions in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
