Lovesick math nerd Nemorino is mad for the rich and popular Adina, who of course doesn't know he exists. He'll do anything—enlist, reject, confess— to get Adina to fall in love with him. True love and teenage turmoil meet on the football field, in the innocent and heady days of the 1950's.The soaring melodies of Donizetti's bel canto score are brought to new life with Music Director Director Frank Conlon conducting a small instrumental ensemble and dynamic cast of performers.
