The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Performance Dates

From the Oscar-winning team of Alan Menken (Aladdin, The Little Mermaid) and Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Children of Eden) comes the stage adaptation of Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Darker and more true to the spirit of Victor Hugo’s epic novel than the animated film, the stage version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame is reminiscent in style of that most famous adaptation of Hugo’s work: Les Miserables. The musical features a bold score full of powerful new songs in addition to well-known favorites from the Disney feature (“The Bells of Notre Dame” and “God Bless the Outcasts”) that explore the themes of passion, transgression, love, and brutality. A poignant examination of what it means to search for belonging, Hunchback offers a moving testament to the resilience of the human spirit.
