Fifteen-year-old Phoebe Harris is intelligent, beautiful, and at the cusp of adulthood in a society endlessly obsessed with youth and beauty. Dark with touching wit, Full Bloom invites the audience to join Phoebe's sphere of family and friends as they face the often harrowing challenges of growing up and growing old.

Full Bloom playwright Suzanne Bradbeer is the author of more than a dozen musicals, comedies, and dramas for the stage. This is Arcturus Theater Company’s second production, following a successful run of short plays by Samuel Beckett that DC Metro Theater Arts called “deeply moving and utterly fascinating.” Arcturus aims to present sociologically relevant dramas that evoke new ideas and spark discussion.
