Capital Fringe Festival is the only major unjuried, self-producing, open-access Festival in the Washington, DC area and occurs in July each year. The Fringe Festival provides all artists, whether new or established, a venue to express and develop their talents and artistic visions in total freedom.

Fringe Festival #8 July 11 to 28 - Tickets on Sale June 17th

Dominate themes in 2013 include: updated use of classic texts or performances styles, local politics, race, religion, less traditional dance and physical performance, historical biopics and some technically interesting shows involving use of mobile phones and audio systems.
