Nicole Halmos most recently played Della in Prologue  and NextStop Theatres’ co-production of The Cake. In 2022, she was featured in My Body, No Choice at Frostburg State University and played Mattie Fae in August, Osage County at the Cumberland Theatre. She appeared in White Rabbit, Red Rabbit for the Frostburg Cultural Event Series.  Other Maryland area productions include The Shakespeare Theatre’s The Alchemist; Baltimore Center Stage’s Sweeney Todd; Ford’s Theatre’s A Christmas Carol; The Bay Street Theatre’s The FantasticksClue, House of Yes, Assassins, Gypsy, Carrie - The Musical,  Dirty Blonde, and Shirley Valentine all with The Cumberland Theatre; All My Sons, Cabaret, Santaland Diaries and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolfe with The Embassy Theatre. In New York Nicole appeared in Titanic; Dido, Queen of Carthage; The Seagull; Faust; Hamlet; Young Goodman Brown; Funeral Games; The Holy Mother of Hadley, New York; The Fabulist; On A Clear Day You Can See Forever; and Cristobal Columbus. Regional appearances include  Yale Rep in Galileo; Virginia Stage in Private Lives; Dallas Theater Center in Wit; Triad Stage in Our Town; Seaside Theater in A Streetcar Named Desire, A Little Night Music, The Royal Family and Little Me. She toured nationally and internationally in The Sound of Music with Marie Osmond, Debbie Boone,and Marla Schaffel (not at the same time). Awards include The Sustainer’s Award for Best Supporting Actress as Charlotte in A Little Night Music, The Boston Globe “Year’s 10 Best” Award for her performance of Hannale in The Captain’s Doll at The Wellfleet Theater; The Syracuse Post-Standard’s “Not To Be Missed” for her performance in the title role of Molly Sweeney and a Distinguished Alumni Award from Bishop Walsh High School. Nicole also performs in concert and is featured on the original soundtracks of The Fabulist, Three Blondes and a Bowl, and Sugar Dumpling,and in 2020-2021 was a featured guest artist for The Cumberland Choral Society’s virtual concert series.
