Both Sides of the Mirror, by electroacoustic classical group Fuse Ensemble invokes the mirror as the intersection of self-reflection and imagined mystical dimensions.
Human reflection, re/presentation and portals to mystical dimensions are richly explored in Both Sides of the Mirror by Fuse Ensemble. Their performance of electroacoustic classical works from a diverse group of composers, AI/human interaction and original films by Also Sisters and by Michael Edwards conjure an exciting evening for all.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Fuse Ensemble Director Gina Biver is a signatory of New Music Equity Action, a group of composers, performers, directors who are committed to dismantling the inequitable status quo in new music. As of 2022, Fuse Ensemble is supported by Fuse Ensemble Arts Collective, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to advance the awareness of, and opportunities for, composers and artists in underrepresented groups. Fuse Ensemble aims to expose audiences to a wide range of artistic perspectives and insights while encouraging the growth of a more just, inclusive and vibrant new music community.
