Join Naomi Jacobson for a workshop series on how to prepare for Cold Reading for Film, Television and Commercials. This will be a two week workshop series (June 3rd and June 10th) for actors who are interested in sharpening their skills with cold reading. Students will receive coaching and feedback during the two weeks.

Naomi Jacobson is a Woolly MammothTheatre Company Member, and Shakespeare Theatre Company Affiliated Artist. She's worked at most DC based theatres, including the Kennedy Center, Arena Stage, Ford's, Signature and Studio Theatres, and regionally for The Guthrie, The Goodman, Village Theatre, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Center Stage, Cincinnati Playhouse, Indiana Rep, Arizona Theatre Company, Milwaukee Rep, Delaware Theatre Co & Wolf Trap Opera. Naomi's narrated programs for PBS, NPR, Discovery Channel, and the Smithsonian. She teaches various workshops for actors and university graduate programs and coaches professionals and business leaders in public speaking and presentation skills. Naomi's received 3 Helen Hayes Awards, the Anderson-Hopkins Award for Excellence in Theatre, the Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship and an Individual Artist Grant from the D.C. Arts Commission.
