Public Transportation
Round House Theatre is one block from the Bethesda station on Metro’s Red Line, at the corner of East-West Highway and Waverly Street.

Metro riders should disembark at the Bethesda station and take the convenient pedestrian tunnel under Wisconsin Avenue. This pedestrian tunnel ends in the lobby of the Bethesda Crescent Building.

After exiting the tunnel, take the escalator up to street level. Exit the building onto East-West Highway, look to your right, and you will see Round House Theatre across the street at the corner of East-West Highway and Waverly Street.

The pedestrian tunnel is closed 10:00 pm – 5:00 am. During those times the Metro is accessible through the entrance on Wisconsin Avenue in the plaza next to the Hyatt.

Parking Options
The theatre does not own or operate any of the parking garages listed below. While we do our best to provide the most accurate information available, timing and rates are subject to change at the discretion of the owners.

Garage Parking
The LAZ garage underneath the theatre and 7501 Wisconsin Avenue building is open each day until 11:00 pm Monday through Saturday and until 5:30 pm on Sunday. Paid parking is available at a flat rate of $6 for Round House patrons entering the attended garage after 6:00 pm M-F, or all day on the weekends. Those parking before 6:00 pm M-F will receive a $6 discount and be responsible for the remainder. Flat rate parking for $6 is available all-day on the weekends.

If you are staying for a special event that may end after the times listed above, or leaving Round House premises on foot after the show, you will need to move your car immediately following the performance. Once the garage closes you may not be able to access your vehicle until the following morning.

Entrance to the parking garage is on the service road directly across from Waverly Street and adjacent to the theatre. Follow the signs to the parking garage. The eastern-most elevator in the garage (on the P-1 level; clearly marked as for Round House) will take you to our theatre Box Office foyer.

Please note that the payment procedure has changed for the 7501 Wisconsin Avenue garage. Drivers will now be required to take an automatic ticket when entering and later pay at the pay stations located on the P-1 level before returning to their vehicle to exit. The nearest pay station accepting cash & credit is located by the P-1 east tower garage elevator lobby. When exiting the Round House elevator lobby, walk straight ahead and look to the right to find the nearest pay station.

Metered Garage Parking
Two metered public parking decks are on Waverly Street one-half block from the theatre. These meters are in effect weekdays 7:00 am – 10:00 pm and cost $1.25 per hour. Parking in these metered decks is free on weekends. Please be aware that Montgomery County has temporarily closed portions of the 7401 Waverly Street parking garage for rehabilitation.

Pay-by-Cell Phone parking is available in the Waverly Street garage.
