Theatre Description
The Anacostia Playhouse features emerging and established artists’ work to DC’s traditionally underserved Ward 8 community. As a community-oriented performing arts space, we present original theater and youth programs, provide a space for partners to showcase their artistic work, and host neighborhood events. Through our efforts, we are preserving EOR’s cultural identity while building bridges with our non-EOR neighbors.
