Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Meet and greet all patrons entering Signature’s Max or Ark Theatre, checking, or scanning for valid tickets.
Be personal and pro-active in aiding all guests with the highest level of customer service and hospitality.
Assist guests by providing accurate directions to seating sections within the theatres.
Receive and quickly act upon requests or complaints from patrons; refer serious problems to the House Manager on Duty.
Retain knowledge of the Signature Theatre’s history, staff, and emergency activity procedures.
Enforce Signatures policies, rules, and Equity regulations.
Aid the House Manager on duty to patrons in the event of an accident or injury.
In the event of an emergency, assist in evacuating Signature Theatre, while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.
Perform additional functions and activities as directed by the House Manager on Duty or Front of House Operations Manager.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Other customer service helpful but not required. Training will be provided.
Have strong interpersonal skills and able to provide excellent customer service and hospitality.
Must be a team player who is able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Available to work 20 hours per week.

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, walk long distances, and climb up/downstairs.
The employee is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit and must lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Compensation
The Usher position is a part-time, hourly non-exempt job with an hourly rate of $14.00/hr.
