Training and collaborating with your assistant teachers is expected, as is full engagement as a supervisor, mentor and role model during non-artistic time to support before and after-care services.
Ideal candidate will have the following skills and characteristics:
- Delights in directing students (grades 3 & 4)
- Belief in the power of the ensemble
- Training in classical theatre or Commedia dell’Arte
- A graduate degree
- Very organized, experienced leading a satellite program
- Equally comfortable talking to elementary school students and their parents
- Experience mentoring staff
