Since 2015, Mosaic Theater Company of DC has produced bold, culturally diverse theater that illuminates critical issues, elevates fresh voices, and sparks connections among communities throughout our region and beyond. Our values are collaboration, community, curiosity, equity, anti-racism and inclusivity. Mosaic Theater Company is led by Artistic Director Reginald L. Douglas and Managing Director Serge Seiden. We produce six full productions, year-round new play development activities, and robust community and audience engagement programs each season at the historic Atlas Performing Arts Center in northeast Washington, DC.

The Director of Development:
- Reports to the Managing Director and works very closely with the Artistic Director.
Manages two full-time direct reports: the Manager of Institutional Giving and the Donor Relations & Data Manager.
- Collaborates with other department heads to promote cross-departmental productivity. (For example: reconciliation with Business; coordination on events, newsletters, invitations and publications with Communications; coordination on events with the Production; collaboration with Artistic on grant language, “moves management” strategy and events.)
- Contributes to many theater-wide decisions including the annual budget and season calendar.
- Participates in all Board meetings.
- Works closely with the Chair of the Development Committee of the Board and serves as the staff liaison to the Committee and to the Full Board.
