The Shakespeare Theatre Company, located in downtown Washington DC, seeks a full-time Covid Safety Administrator to join our Covid Safety Management team, which is responsible for implementing and enforcing STC’s COVID safety policies and procedures. Responsibilities include checking vaccine cards, monitoring onsite mask usage, restocking COVID safety supplies, and supporting production group COVID testing procedures that will include virtual and onsite testing administration. The Covid Safety Administrator may attend rehearsals, performances, or special events as a representative of the Covid Safety Management team and has availability on nights and weekends. As part of the production management team, this position will also take on administrative duties in the production management department that include but not limited to invoice processing, supplies ordering, and tracking of IDs and entry cards for the various production staff. This is a full-time position through December 31, 2022, with excellent benefits and a weekly salary of $900. Along with understanding and implementing covid safety, the ideal candidate will be a skilled administrator who has familiarity with theatre production, including rehearsals and performances. The ideal candidate has experience with COVID safety in a production setting, experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Sheets, and the ability to stay calm under pressure and to work under time sensitivity. The ideal candidate has a current Arts & Science COVID Compliance training certificate, although STC will cover the cost of training if necessary. Please note that STC has a mandatory vaccination policy, along with other safety requirements due to COVID-19.
