Triumph of Love is an anachronistic adaptation of the comedic French play of the same name by Marivaux. It follows Princess Leonide and the handsome Agis as they get lost along the path to love. Along with their hilarious henchmen, the hijinx abound complete with convincing disguises, unrequited love, and attempted murder. Triumph of Love has hometown roots as it made its world premiere at Baltimore's Center Stage while author James Magruder served as Resident Dramaturg. With a combination of henchmen, unrequited love, convincing disguises, and endless hijinks, this musical adaptation of the classic play by the same name reveals the lengths to which love can drive a person.
