Opening Performance

Krapp sits at his desk with a tape recorder in front of him, from which emanates a voice, younger more robust, but still Krapp, relating how life felt when he was thirty-nine and on love and his great career- all in the future. An old man listens- and makes his sardonic comments. Krapp is truly making his last tape. A shattering meditation- a monologue on life, love time and its irrevocable passing.

From Irish Nobel Laureate Samuel Beckett author of "Waiting for Godot" and "Endgame."
