In the more than 400 years since it was written, no play has ever rivaled -- let alone surpassed -- Hamlet. The Annapolis Shakespeare Company takes you deep into the mind of Shakespeare's most famous protagonist for a psychological thrill ride during Hamlet's descent into a homicidal rage, which leads to some of the greatest soliloquies in the English language. After the death of his father (King Hamlet), young Prince Hamlet comes home to find his uncle married to his mother and installed on the throne. At night, the ghost of the old king demands that Hamlet avenge his "foul and most unnatural murder," setting in motion a whirlwind of intrigue, violence and profound humor.
