Opening Performance

In a desolate, frozen future, Prometheus, his wife Gaia, and a band of survivors scratch an existence in a ruined world. When a violent storm destroys what little they have, Gaia is blinded and her and Prometheus’ child is killed. Grief-stricken, Prometheus discovers fire atop a mountain and learns to master it. Returning, he uses its power to create a new being: the Creature. But the new being escapes into the wild, where it begins to grow, learn, and evolve on its own. Lonely, he encounters a young girl, but accidentally kills her in a confused act of love.

The Creature returns to find Gaia and Prometheus, the Creature killing her and demanding Prometheus resurrect her as a companion. Consumed by rage and loss, Prometheus obeys. Gaia awakens changed—alive yet aligned with the Creature. They leave Prometheus, disappearing into the wasteland. Broken and alone, Prometheus animates an undead army to hunt the Creature and Gaia, but the pair overcome Prometheus’ force. The story ends where it began, in ice and silence, with a creator chained and facing the ruin his own hands have made.
