Curtains

What would you get if you combined the fun of Noises Off with the suspense of Agatha Christie--and asked Broadway giants Kander and Ebb (of Cabaret and Chicago fame) to turn it into a musical?  Why, Curtains, of course!  A hilarious send-up of backstage murder mystery plots, Curtains ran for two years on Broadway and garnered eight nominations at the 2007 Tony Awards.

It’s the brassy, bright, and promising year of 1959. Boston’s Colonial Theatre is host to the opening night performance of the new musical, Robbin’ Hood of the Old West. When the supremely untalented leading lady mysteriously dies on stage, the entire cast and crew are suspects. Enter a local detective, who just happens to be an ardent musical theatre fan!
