Berlin to Broadway with Kurt Weill, A Musical Voyage

Berlin to Broadway with Kurt Weill is a musical voyage through the song-writing career of an extraordinary composer of the 20th century. This cabaret-musical-revue compiles over 40 of Weill’s iconic songs in a fascinating sequence to tell the story of his life, spanning from his rise to fame with The Threepenny Opera in late 1920s Germany, to his death in 1950 in New York City. A free Directors’ Salon about the production takes place at Source on Tuesday, February 12 at 7pm.
