A network for Artists of Color, specifically those of the African diaspora; talent/production/administration folks who work in theatre, radio, television and film.
Galvanize DC seeks to create a nurturing community for the serious artist through means of encouragement, support and education. It seeks to elevate the individual, therefore elevating the group. And it seeks to create a safe forum where one can address achievements, challenges and issues specific to Artists of Color without excluding ANYONE with similar pursuits, as it takes a village. Galvanize DC's mission is to be proactive and not be bystanders in the pursuit of goals.
