Nessa Amherst is thrilled to be a part of the theatreWashington 2024 Mentorship program! Originally from Chicago, she has graced the theaters of the DMV (in-person & virtually) for the past eight years with companies and organizations including the Kennedy Center, 1st Stage, Transformation Theatre, Rorschach Theatre, Voices Festival Productions, Greenbelt Arts Center, JaYo Théâtre, Endangered Species Theatre Project, Silver Spring Stage, and Rockville Little Theatre. Nessa also keeps a biweekly blog post on her website that features reflections and observations on her career and life in general. She is excited to be able to learn so much more about the theatre community she's called home for over 12 years, and to connect with the incredible people she can't wait to meet along the way!
