Julia Marks

Julia Marks is a writer, director, and theatre artist based in Washington, DC. She has created and developed works at home and abroad with Fishamble, the Scene and Heard Festival, the Piccolo Spoleto Festival, Rorschach Theatre, Rhizome DC, and Sisters Freehold. She has directed with Washington Revels, Montgomery College, and College of Charleston. She is a current member of Sisters Freehold’s Horticulture Cohort, and was a participant in The Orchard Project’s Liveness Lab. She received a BA in Theatre from the College of Charleston, and trained at the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, Ireland.
