Valerie Adams Rigsbee is a D.C.-based actor and singer, and the co-owner of Chisel and Brand LLC, the web design and marketing firm for many local theatre companies.
Locally, she’s performed in Noises Off, Shakespeare in Love, Hands on a Hardbody and Next to Normal (Helen Hayes Winner, Outstanding Musical) at Keegan Theatre; Miracle on 34th Street, Sister Act and Escape to Margaritaville at Toby's Dinner Theatre; The Remains at Studio Theatre (Helen Hayes Nominee, Outstanding Ensemble in a Play and Outstanding New Play); Museum 2040 at 4615 Theatre Company; The Skin of Our Teeth and Urinetown (Helen Hayes Nominee, Outstanding Musical) at Constellation Theatre; James & the Giant Peach (Helen Hayes Winner, Outstanding Ensemble) at Adventure Theatre; Much Ado About Nothing at Next Stop Theatre; Bonnie and Clyde at Monumental Theatre; and Doctor Faustus at Brave Spirits Theatre. In addition to acting, she is the co-owner of Chisel and Brand LLC, a web design and marketing firm, whose local theatre clients have included Keegan Theatre, Theatre Alliance, Avant Bard Theatre, Flying V, Bowie Center for the Performing Arts, and more, is the owner/operator for Broadway Musical Home and Broadway Play Home and performs annually with 42nd Street Singers.
