Alyssa (She/They) will be performing in Working: A Musical, in conjunction with The Labor Heritage Foundation, performed at Black Lives Matter Plaza fall of 2021. This project is particularly important to her as it’s mission of better working conditions for artists, diversity and inclusion, and zero tolerance policy on discrimination of any kind, is close to her heart and identity as an ally to BLM and BIPOC communities as well as being a member of the LGBTQIA+ community herself. Most recently they appeared in Shipwreck, at Woolly Mammoth Theater Co. Additional Woolly credits include Gloria, Helen Hayes Nomination for best ensemble, as well at Botticelli in the Fire. Notable DC credits also include Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at Roundhouse Theater where they received the Helen Hayes Award for Best Lead Actress in a play, and Come From Away at Fords Theater where they received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a musical. Additional highlights include How I learned to Drive at Roundhouse Theater, and Vanity Fair at The Shakespeare Theater. Major career highlights include having the great honor to co-host the Helen Hayes Awards, as well as being named on of ‘DC’s Daring Dozen’ by The Washington Post in 2017. TV and Film credits include BULL (CBS) and Kringle Time (Deep Structure Productions), now streaming on all platforms! Alyssa holds an MFA from George Washington University and The Shakespeare Theater Company’s Academy for Classical Acting.

In addition to performing, Alyssa is also a professional Certified Life and Relationship Coach dedicated to helping womxn through life and relationship transition, as well as guiding those new to, or struggling with ethical non-monogamy and polyamory build lasting and successful open relationships.
