New to the Washington DC/DMV area, Alessandro has been a Director/ Arts Administrator since 2017. Having graduated from Clemson University with a BA in Performing Arts with a Theatre concentration, Alessandro has had the great fortune of directing all across the country and even directed while he was abroad in London in 2016!
As one of the Artistic Direction Interns at Marin Theatre Company in Mill Valley CA, Alessandro Assistant Directed two mainstage productions in 2017 and 2018 (Majorie Prime and Shakespeare in Love). During his internship Alessandro also serviced as the casting associate having helped run auditions for their 2017-2018 season and served as apart of the season planning committee. After his internship, Alessandro stayed in the Bay Area and worked at New Conservatory Theatre Center as their Box Office and Patron Services Manager. While at NCTC, he freelanced around the Bay, directing a staged reading of Venus by Christine Magill Keating at the Exit Theatre. After Venus he directed Let's Get Galactic, a TYA touring show for New Conservatory Theatre Center's YouthAware company. After the COVID Pandemic began in 2020 Alessandro moved down to Los Angeles to explore the Southern California entertainment industry where he was fortunate enough to direct Inducement and Encouragement, an original 2 Act play by local actor and writer Matthew Bases.
Outside of his freelance theatre career, Alessandro enjoys directing/filming music videos for Khaleel Mandel, cooking, reading, and consuming as much theatre, film, and tv as he can!
