Young Actors Program (Ages 10-17)

Our Young Actors Ensemble is a weekend acting program for ages 10-17. The program would run from February 26th to May 21st, with classes meeting Saturdays from 10am to 1pm. Placement auditions are held next weekend, Saturday, February 19th.

Modeled after the adult curriculum, the Young Actors Ensemble program nurtures the creativity, develops the vocal and physical skills, and enhances the young actors' ability to perform and work together as part of an ensemble. This program is suitable for beginners and those with experience. Utilizing theatre games, pantomimes, improvisations, ensemble work, monologues and scene study from both contemporary and classical literature, students expand their concentration, observation skills, ability and enjoyment in performing. The program culminates in a final showing of their work.

The placement audition for the program will be held on Saturday morning, February 19th. We will reach out at a later date to schedule the audition time. (A reminder that there is nothing that needs to be prepared for the audition. No previous experience is necessary. It is a group audition, simply to get a sense of the students' current abilities).
