Live Garra Theatre raises the curtain for the audience to view a musical showcase, workshops of a work in progress. The debut of the play’s theme song, "Something Greater Than Ourselves," is at the story's soul. Join us as we embark on this neighborhood-shared venture of the making of a miracle. A young African American couple decide to terminate a pregnancy. Their Brooklyn apartment turns into a free-for-all when an image appears on the window of what looks to be the Virgin Mary holding the Baby Jesus. The neighbors gather outside, captivated and want to pray, sing, and dance to the ‘Window King.’ Soon, the couple is swept up in this whirlwind of a spiritual spectacle. Parental guidance is advised; this play contains adult themes and explicit content.
