A Wake at Singh's by Aeneas Hemphill, directed by: Mekala Sridhar - part of Prologue Theatre's new works series FOREWORD.
A found family of immigrant cabbies gathers at their usual spot to discuss a string of debt-related suicides in their community with their Union Rep. With the loss of one of their member, larger issues of capitalism and imperialism hit home. Together, they mourn--and are moved to action.
