About Artist Tax Prep and Farrell Parker
Artist Tax Prep's mission is to eliminate the panic and shame that many experience as part of the annual income tax filing process, by way of affordable, sustainable tax preparation services. Founded in DC by a self-employed artist, Artist Tax Prep is particularly positioned to serve independent artists and others striving, surviving, and thriving in the gig economy.
Artist Tax Prep is an IRS-certified Tax Preparer, Annual Filing Season Program participant and a legally registered and insured business. We at Artist Tax Prep want all clients to feel they are in a safe space working with us.

Farrell Parker is a DC-based performing artist, tax preparer, and recovering bartender. She holds a BS in Business Administration from Boston University, a graduate certificate in Digital Media Skills from American University, and an MFA from The Academy for Classical Acting at the Shakespeare Theatre and George Washington University. A New Jersey native, Farrell has been seen on stages across the DMV area including Arena Stage, Olney Theatre, and with The Second City (among many others), and most recently as Miss Dairy Parton in the world-premiere children's musical Acoustic Roooster's Barnyard Boogie at the Kennedy Center. A past Helen Hayes-nominee in both acting and writing categories, she has the song "Filling out the Form" from [title of show] stuck in her head every time she does a tax return (and with 200 clients...that's a lot of times). www.artisttaxprep.com www.farrellparker.com
