Signing up for our Monologue Auditions?
Join us for a class on how to deliver your best audition. McLean will cover a great slate and how to prepare your theatre monologue for the Zoom stage. You'll perform the piece for the class, get feedback and time allowing, perform again. Memorization is recommended, but not necessary.
We know you don't have your audition slot yet, but folks interested in auditioning on either day (in-person or online), are welcome to join this informative class. Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we're happy to offer this session free to AC Members. Members may only sign up for one Monologue Prep workshop to allow others the opportunity to get coached.
McLean Fletcher is an existential and introspective storyteller whose work explores spirituality, sexuality, and psychology. Inspired by the classics and the hero's journey, she believes in humanity against all odds. With an MFA in Shakespeare from George Washington University and two decades working in the arts professionally, McLean shares her unique, evocative vision with her students. Cancellation Policy: It is expected that if you sign up to take a workshop that you will be present at that event. If you register for a workshop series, it is expected you will be present for all days in that workshop series.
Please view our updated workshop cancellation guidelines regarding refunds:
-All cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will not be issued a refund or credit for the workshop.
-All cancellations made between 24-48 hours in advance will not be issued a refund for the workshop, but will be issued a credit to their account.
-All cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund.
Please contact the AC at staff@actorscenter.org if canceling due to illness or another situation arises. We are happy to work with individuals on a case by case basis.
