Signing up for our Monologue Auditions?

Join us for a class on how to deliver your best audition. Osama will cover a great slate and how to prepare your theatre monologue for the auditions. You'll perform the piece for the class, get feedback and time allowing, perform again. Memorization is recommended, but not necessary.

We know you might not have your audition slot yet, but folks interested in auditioning on either day (in-person or online), are welcome to join this informative class. Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we're happy to offer this session free to AC Members. Members may only sign up for one Monologue Prep workshop to allow others the opportunity to get coached.

Jamil Joseph was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York Jamil Joseph is thrilled to be working with Actors Center and he is more than excited to be a part of their team to help carry out their mission throughout the community. Having studied the arts since undergrad, Jamil has been acting for almost a decade and has been trained in classical works, voice and movement. Jamil's had the pleasure of working with various artists, directors, and movement coaches and is looking forward to applying his lessons in this monologue coaching. He has just finished working with Solas Nua on the U.S premier of Playboy of the Western World and will be working with Constellation Theatre on their show School for Lies.

Cancellation Policy: It is expected that if you sign up to take a workshop that you will be present at that event. If you register for a workshop series, it is expected you will be present for all days in that workshop series.

All cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will not be issued a refund or credit for the workshop.
All cancellations made between 24-48 hours in advance will not be issued a refund for the workshop, but will be issued a credit to their account.
All cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund.
Please contact the AC at staff@actorscenter.org if canceling due to illness or another situation arises. We are happy to work with individuals on a case by case basis.
