The bad news? Many actors lose the audition the moment they announce their monologue selection—or within the first ten seconds of the monologue— because it's not right for them. Or because the CD has heard it a zillion times. The good news? This workshop will teach you how to find great monologues that are highly effective and specific to you—as well as how to slate and nail your monologues on-camera.

Martin will provide and work with each actor on a monologue in class. He'll give you strategies for finding great monologues no one else has.

This is a class for Advanced Actors (Level II & Above). Admittance to this class is contingent on receipt of a headshot & resume, and permission of the instructor. To see if this class is a good fit for you, please e-mail your information (professional headshot, resume, anything else we should know) to rebecca@actorscenter.org.
