This year’s edition of GALA FILM FEST celebrates the vibrancy of Central American cinema screening films from Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Panama—two of them in their U.S. premieres, with four filmmakers in attendance. Rounding up the selection is an acclaimed Mexican documentary and a classic from the 1960s. All films in Spanish with English subtitles.
