Join Caroline Lucas and prepare for your next audition! Auditioning is more than just the monologue or song, it requires a headshot and resume, possibly a song book, rehearsing and many other aspects.

In this workshop, you will:

  1. Have a headshot and resume review and receive feedback on your materials.
  2. Receive monologue coaching or help choosing a monologue- We encourage you to bring a monologue you are auditioning with or a few to choose from if you would like help selecting one.
  3. Be able to practice your audition from entering the room, to the audition to exiting Caroline has also been an auditor at the AC Monologue auditions and can provide insight on what your audition and materials look like to a casting associate.

 

Caroline Lucas is an actress, teaching artist and theatre producer who has a special interest in movement theatre, outdoor performing, and all things Shakespeare. On stage, she appeared as a lead in It's What We Do with the Capital Fringe Festival, which won the audience award for Best Drama. In D.C. she has performed with Capital Fringe, Source Festival, Young Playwright's Theater, Rorschach Theatre and The Rude Mechanicals. She has worked as a Teaching Artist with Young Playwrights' Theater, The Theatre Lab and The Actor's Center. In 2018 with More Productions, she produced Babette's Feast Off-Broadway. She holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Bethel University in Indiana, and recently completed Shakespeare & Company's Month-long Acting Intensive.
