George Bailey’s struggle to understand his own worth and grasp why life is worth living finds fresh life in this enchanting one-person retelling of Frank Capra’s classic story. This new script, penned by The HUB’s Artistic Director Helen Pafumi and popular DC actor Jason Lott, premiered in 2012 at The HUB Theatre and was a Helen Hayes nominee for The Charles MacArthur Award for Outstanding New Play or Musical. Theater Alliance is delighted to bring this production to Capitol Hill, with Jason Lott revisiting his lauded performance and playing all the colorful characters of Bedford Falls.
