An Evening with Danny Kaye

The American Century Theater is thrilled to be welcoming Helen Hayes Award-winning Brian Childers back to TACT for An Evening with Danny Kaye. This production, to be performed as part of TACT’s Robert M. McElwaine “Reflections” series, pays tribute to one of Broadway and Hollywood’s greatest showmen – Danny Kaye. Brian Childers becomes Danny Kaye in a way that lets a new generation discover – and an older generation re-visit – a unique performer.

Childers performed in numerous incarnations of the story of Danny Kaye in Danny and Sylvia: A Musical Love Story, which was first performed at TACT and garnered him the Helen Hayes Award for Best Actor in a Musical and the Mary Goldwater Award.
