On March 14, 2020, following New York's lockdown in response to COVID-19, the "Broadway Diner" on Broadway becomes the backdrop for a profound transformation in the "normal" dynamics among four individuals: Jin xiu, the female proprietor; Xiao Wu, the chef and manager; Angela, Jin Xiu's "Niece" and soon-to-be graduate of the Naval Medical Academy; and Dr. Li, a loyal patron. Amidst the chaos, can they navigate their way from despair to hope, emerging from the willow's shadows into the bloom?
