Scott Sedar



A resident of Washington, DC, Scott Sedar has performed in theatres across the country while on two tours for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Locally, he has appeared at Arena Stage, Atlas, Center Stage (Baltimore), Happenstance, Horizon, the Kennedy Center, New Playwright’s, Olney, Rep Stage, Round House, Signature, Source, Washington Savoyards, Washington Stage Guild and Woolly Mammoth, among others. He is a singer as well as actor and he has been frequently seen in InSeries operatic productions, as well as musicals. Besides playing Miguel Cervantes and his alter ego Don Quixote, Scott recently took on the role of artist Joseph Cornell in Charles Mee’s play Hotel Cassiopeia. Currently, he has worked with Smithsonian’s Discovery Theatre and Washington Revel’s artistic director, Roberta Gasparre, to create a personable Abraham Lincoln, for commemorative celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.
