Step, kick, kick, leamp, kick, touch...again! Tap, jazz, ballet, swing, sword fighting, boxing, and brawls are but a few of the Choreopgraphers' tools of their trade. In collaboration with the director and designers, they create a wondrous method of expression to enhance a play or musical. Using a variety of techniques, they craft the movement that will define the mood and energy of the play. The 2013 Helen Hayes Awards Nominees for Outstanding Choreography in a Resident Production have enlightened our understanding and appreciation of choreography and even expanded the definition of dance.
